Hello everyone, here's an update of the latest and greatest in news according to me and my art:
1. The West End Cultural Centre has selected me to create some public art on the outer walls of their newly renovated building. This will truly be an exciting project and I will keep you posted to any developments. Expect to see the installation of this in the summer/fall of 2010. click here for details.
2. One of my paintings was chosen to go into a Grade 10 Calculus textbook and they will be printing 40,000 copies over the next 10 years. click here to see the one they picked.
3. I donated work to the Winter Wassail and to The North Dakota Museum of Art(which had an amazing catalogue). Both were successes!
4. I organized my third exhibition at the Folk Exchange. Called the Art of Music 2: Musicians who make art it brings together some talented local musicians showcasing some of the other things that they do. This will be on until Jan.15th, 2010
5. One of my latest paintings appears as the cover to the demo release of a local band called "The New Lightweights". click here for their myspace page.
6. I'm still contributing to the Uniter, both writing and graphics, be sure to click on their link to the right.
7. I recently designed the cover for my friend John Scoles' book "Housecoat Diaries: Chicken Scratch for the Soul". click here for a sample of his writing
